| Judges’ Comments This cover was distinguished by its simplicity. Colour is used judiciously to make the image of the boy and the little bird come to life. There's a restraint that isn't normally associated with children’s books, and it brings to the forefront those qualities of peacefulness and harmony that make this such a special book. | ||
