Jenny Haslimeier
 | Jenny Haslimeier graduated from Wanganui School of Design with a Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (Hons). After gaining industry experience in Auckland, she moved to Edinburgh in 2005 where she freelanced in a variety of design disciplines. She returned to New Zealand after five and half years and moved into book publishing, joining Penguin Books New Zealand as a book designer in 2012. Haslimeier relishes any opportunity to combine her illustration skills with her book design. | |
| Judges’ Comments Jenny Haslimeier’s work is bright and playful, showing an obvious delight in her subject matter and her pleasure in working with wonderful content. Her selection of books shows a desire to utilise craft in relationship to typography, but she never lets that distract from the focus on the imagery and story at hand. | ||
