Judges’ Comments This is a beautifully executed book. All the details are extremely well thought out and unified – from the binding and the French-folded jacket, to the font weights and the paper stock choices. The designers have managed to work through a huge amount of diverse visual and typographic material to achieve a flow and consistency and a harmonious sense of space and air.
Cardboard Cathedral is a pleasure to read, and shows great poise and confidence.
