 | Convening judge Megan van Staden is a graphic designer based in Auckland. She is an inhouse designer at Random House and loves any excuse to dust off her paintbrush and doodle wonky type. She graduated from Massey University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Visual Communication Design. After graduating she travelled and taught English for four months in Chile, then landed her dream job designing books at Random House in early 2010. Her sensitivity to subject matter and versatility won her the title of Awa Press Young Designer of the Year at the PANZ Book Design Awards in 2012. |
