Judges’ Comments. The Game Chef’s design and photography speaks directly – not only to its intended audience, but to the story of the food. It has a strong sense of place, cleanly laid-out recipes, and makes fine use of an attractively illustrated graphic system. The designer’s production choices – a stamped cloth cover, uncoated text pages and gritty photography – give it an earthy, yet elegant ruggedness.
