Judges’ Comments The background to every photograph in The Recipe is either black or white. Usually black. This could be problematic, but this collection of classic recipes from some of the top chefs in the world is handsomely served by this technique. And it really helps that Kieran Scott’s photography and art direction are perfectly executed. A gorgeous, bible-like format that perfectly suits this collection of all-time classic recipes. With crisp, clean typography, this is a cookbook for the ages.
