Christine Ling is a graphic designer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, having studied at Victoria University and Whitireia. Working at Huia Publishers over the past four years, Christine is an expert in crafting rich worlds and diverse ensemble casts that reflect the realities and cultures in Aotearoa. She loves the opportunity she gets to bring the words and worlds of storytellers to life and the challenge each new book provides.

Te Kani Price is a graphic designer and creative director, originally from Whangārei, trained in Melbourne and now based in Pōneke. His practice covers the broad spectrum of genres and publication formats that HUIA produces, with a particular interest in finding the perfect complimentary pairing of text and image to tell a nuanced and often unexpected story.
